Debra Alexander, MSN, APRN, BC-FNP, CNRN joined the Brain and Neurospine Clinic of Missouri, LLC in February of 2005. Debra graduated in 1985 from Southeast Missouri State University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Webster University in St. Louis and graduated with academic honors from Southeast Missouri State University with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing in August of 2007. Debra is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Debra has fourteen years of Intensive Care Unit experience with an emphasis on neurosurgical patient care. She was the recipient of Dougle Manthey Nurse of the Year Award and has been a Board Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse since 1995. Debra is an associate member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Debbie's goal in nursing is to utilize her knowledge, competencies, skills and resources towards helping patients achieve a better quality of life & health. Debbie also understands that in some cases it is just as important to help a patient and family better adjust to their illness or disablility resulting from an illness.

In her spare time Debbie enjoys attending sporting events with her three girls. Another favorite is camping with her husband Todd, their three girls and of course - Max (their Yorkshire Terrier).
